Quick Introduction and Note:
Seymour Community Group is a fundraising effort for community members in a for-profit effort of networking resources, support, and services. We are an on-going effort to help relieve self-sustaining activities by creating efforts to relieve financial burdens and output community events to arrive without worries other than to be involved with the community. To gather socially and continue strengthening the crowd familiarity by having fun at other future, creative events!
Currently we are forming this group as a pilot program for the Seymour community to begin the process of documenting a year's worth of committed fundraising to earn a raffle license to further invest in future projects and events to host for a 'restricted to Seymour residents' fundraising cause! Our proceeds are intended to help those who invest in the projects, causes outside of the project, and to build a network of support in the form of consumers and producers.
We plan on legalizing this group throughout our efforts with the city of Seymour, County, and State regulations along with any financial responsibilities and record maintenance.
We will be holding our first meeting, to pick officers with the Board of Directors position (3), Treasury position (1), Secretary position (2).
Once appointed, they will continue to create by-laws for the group for the group to vote in approval at a meeting.
