Name: Seymour Community Fundraising Group (SCFG)
Established: October 1, 2025
Location: Seymour, Wisconsin
Mission Statement
Vision Statement
Creating an enjoyable atmosphere within the community to support, create, and raise money for causes that directly affect our community members.
Establishment Purpose
The idea behind this group is to create a resource center for raising money for an anticipated event, new expense or holiday, something to do in your spare time, or a type of service, good, donation that you just want to be able to put out there for grabs within your own community. This would be the place to recruit volunteers, seek advice with internal information on resources, services, or available carpooling to local markets and events.
Creativity in Solution
One thing that is changing with financial assistance is the type of commitment and purpose we are upholding with the group in requirements. For example, when requesting for an event to raise money, you have to be the project manager and create a sponsorship request application. This is going to include what type of volunteer age, list of responsibilities, and schedule you will need. It will also include any items you can provide and what will be needed to help with the review of your application to determine things outside of your expertise. This is also going to be improving your job skills in project management that you can list on the resume, with Seymour Community Fundraising Group as a reference. The type of group requirements could be to accrue 30 hours of documented community service to receive an application. Another requirement could be added depending on how beneficial the event is worth signing up to set the candidates apart when applying for the opportunity.
Executive Summary
We will not have a venue, but will open it to request different locations and businesses to open up for our seasonal meetings (while maintaining communication with the blog and email on a regular basis for new announcements or new posting requests through inbox at seymourcommunitygroup@gmail.com). We will be holding a quorum meeting to vote for our officers and to begin the official bylaw creation of the SCFG in Seymour, Wisconsin - upon the return of an out of town colleague and member of the group, within the remainder of 2025.
